You put a hood on yourself??? That's got to be one of the worst jobs with new paint, no doubt!
What did I do today? I dug out a 66 dash cluster, tested an ammeter, removed it, boxed it, and addressed to a certain gal in Texas.
Earlier, our Club went on a true cruise to Tallahassee to the Antique Auto Museum (not that good, to tell you the truth), where the original Batman car is, along with two movie cars as well. They had a 1893 Duryea with hand-drawn drawings by Duryea on the undercarriage. I doubt the date, as there was only one built, and it's not in Tallahassee. They also claim to have a 1894 model, but the first production models wasn't until 1898. No explanation for the discrepancies in the museum. They also claim to have a horse-drawn hearse that "supposedly" carried Lincoln's body back home. Yeah, right...just like every old inn on the East Coast claims that Washington slept there.
