What did you get done on your Stang today????

I installed a new Street Demon 625 carb with phenolic body.......I love this carb! Very little adjustment and great response.

Took me a little longer than I planned to work on getting my heater case restored, but I finally got to it this evening. I refinished the metal parts earlier this week and had everything ready to go. Tonight I got all of the new seals installed, a new heater core in and buttoned the case back up. I still need to do the blower motor before it's completely finished. It went back together pretty easily (relatively speaking), though the new seals do cause a little effort to get the halves fully seated. I also started with a really nice case. Pics when the blower motor is back in.

p.s. I have one of the plastic replacement plenums. While more durable than the original cardboard ones, the visual appearance leaves something to be desired. I sprayed mine with some flat dark charcoal gray paint. It looks 100% better and much more like the original piece!

Finally got off my backside and fixed Shag's cigarette lighter so we can charge our phones for this upcoming weekend cruise down the coast.

My front end work is now done. Can't wait for the springs to settle down. It looks like it is on hydraulics ready to bounce

This weekend, KBMWRS and I drove our rigs to Pismo Beach, CA adding almost 500 miles to our odometers, while Crustycurmudgeon probably doubled that driving to Los Angeles and back.

You guys are either brave or :cens for driving those down on the beach. I learned a long time ago to only venture onto the sand with 4-wheel drive vehicles. Not to mention the fine sandblasting you get if the wind is blowing.

Great picture, sorry I missed this trip....sooner or later I will be tagging along.

Picked this up yesterday, at Scholz Autofest in Capac, Mi.

They were honoring veterans at this show.
