"Fast68back" said:I was VERY schocked when we won the Mustang class, there were two very nice early Shelbys, including the Hertz above. It was the first show that my son came to with me, he really liked it. I think he would have sat in the car the whole time, just so people would know it was HIS car. He asked about a dozen times if he could go put something in the car, or get something out of the glovebox. He wouldnt go up by himself to get the award or I would have grabbed a picture. He did take the award and held it all the way home. When we got home he wanted to hang it up along with the other awards that have been sitting on the kitchen table for the last month... Then he sent text messages to his friends.... I think I had as much fun watching him as I did showing the car.
Probably half dozen SHELBY comments today about the car. For the life of me I can't figure out what the hell it is about the car that makes people think SHELBY. One dude asked if it was real or a clone, to which I replied its a REAL '68.......
Quick question though, since the paint was a custom mix, can I name it? I get a lot of questions about it, and I'm not really sure what to tell people.quote]
Well , youve got a very cool car and people recognize that.

Got one for myself and he acted the same as yours .
