I got the bracket from the water jet place today and they did a great job. My measurements were off about 1/16" on two of the bolt holes so I had to fix that with the next size up drill bit. I then took a larger bit to allow the allen head bolts to sit flush with the bracket face. I still have to do some more sanding and polishing but it should be done this evening.
Now that they have it programmed in the CAD program the cost to make the next one is much lower. They told me $50 if I provide the material. So if anyone wants to run their alternator on the drivers side and has a GM based rack this is the perfect solution. PM if you want contact info for the water jet company. Just provide my job number and you should be good to go. Of course if you want to do it I'll always take donations to offset the programming costs.
