yes, its a single phase motor. will check the tag on the motor to see what amperage it is. pop said he might still have the original manual too.

didn't see the amp rating listed , but it is a 1hp GE motor , 1725 rpm thats convertable from 115v to 230v.

nah, don't need the hassle or schedule for a t.v. show. i'm in the process of redoing this one that burned. the chrome parts that had already been replated are cleaning up good. thinking seriously about painting up the porcelain in the same scheme as the 31 harley i just finished & having the tank logos embroidered into the leather for the backrest. should be a neat piece when completed.
