... that 0.030 over reman 302 blocks are being advertised as SBF "306" performance motors? I've had a few guys approach me about the benefits of using a 306 motor as opposed to a 302. Huh? The fact that the cylinder walls have already been overbored 50% of their life can not equate into any "benefit", IMO. The companies appear to be marketing these overbored engines as if it's a benefit to have a couple more cubic inches.
