I don't know how to get the PDF on here.

That's cool. I've been wondering if it's worth getting a Marti report on mine. My car is 1 of 325,853 red 67 coupes.

I just did the $40 deluxe report. Already have the door tag.

Now If my car was actually still Dark Aqua maybe it would matter. Po repainted blue

what is Dark Aqua? Isn't that a blue color? or green?

It's more green than blue. Kind of ugly. I can still see a little of the original color in the convertible wells.

Like the '69 Gulf Stream Aqua? I'm not familiar with this 1970 color, but it sounds kind of cool. I don't think 1970 was a big year for 'Vert production. Nice car, BTW!

I guess they are about the same. Never actually seen a 70 in dark aqua. I think it's more teal colored.

Only a little over 7,000 convertibles total for 70.

and the dark aqua on this Shelby doesn't look bad, your's looks better in blue however!

Yeah, I like the blue better. Not a big fan of the Aqua. But I like that it is a more rare color.

I have debating on color for the much needed repaint for a few years now. Now it's on hold for a few more years.

My first car was a 67 Mustang. It was a baby blue color when I got it but the original color was a teal green color. I painted it "Brandywine metalic", never been much for "original" although my current Stang is red and the original color was red :craz I wanted to paint it black but everyone talked me out of it.

I think your car looks killer in red.

When I first bought the car I wanted to paint it red and change the interior to black, but the blue and white combo grew on me.

yeah, blue and white look good and isn't the most common. Thanks for the compliment. Red does stand out but I thought it would look really good black with the red interioer. I changed everything inside anyway so I could have changed it to black but I thought red inside was not as common. 70 is one of my favorite body styles (don't tell the other guys though). I have always wanted a vert too. Wanna trade? :craz

Yeah sure, My car is worth waaaaaaay less than yours! :lol

I had two fox bodies with the red interior and I kinda of liked it. It's different.
I don't care about originality either, I just like something unique.

It's kind of funny that you provided your vin number for all to see. It seems like everyone here is so paranoid about their license plate number, I would think that the vin is more valuable. I have not seen a post linking a Mustang for sale on ebay, that is a scam, in quite a while, maybe they have fixed that problem. I doughno :wm? I have my Marti report on my car domain site, but I X'ed out the end of the vin. fd

FD, I am not at ALL trying to challenge you on this. I am legitimately curious.

Why does everyone on the internet work so hard to hide their VINs? What value could a VIN be to someone who is up to no good? I mean, I can go to the mall parking lot and look at thousands of uncovered VINs all day long.

I feel the same about license plates, too, BTW. The only thing I can figure is it stems from worries about theft. That if they see your vin, they'll somehow look it up in the state's registry, get your address and come out to your house and steal it. IF that's the worry, then while I think it's a skoshe this side of paranoid (Crook can see your license plate as you drive down the road and do the exact same thing, should they choose) I can understand it. And my situation is different because nobody is gonna want to steal my car :)

me too, you make all the same points I would have. It's not a credit card # that some one can use online. I have my title as proof of ownership too.
