Of The Morons
One of the Lions Clubs in a nearby town held a Fall Car Rally. It was a fund raiser to buy Medic-Alert badges for low-income kids in the County. My Lions Club bought some tickets and gave me a spot. It was not a race, but more of a Trivial Pursuit / History challenge that took us all over the Foothills and thru some small Gold Rush towns. We drove about 100 miles.
Members for a local late-model Vette club teamed with our group for the hunt. I was pleasantly surprised that none of them were DB's, but instead really nice people that love cars & cruising. It was a great time and prefect Fall day.
We had to stop at this stand any measure the largest pumpkin in the patch
Dog is my copilot
We had to hike to this historical bridge and count the hands. Robert Ferry CA.
We also stopped at the La Grange Saloon which has been continuously open since 1887
Charlie, who rode shotgun, and Me.
Winners, Brain and Kelly got 2nd, and Wayne got 1st.
