looks like it is time for a bigger tool box! my socket drawers are so full but I keep adding more.They DID fit. I had to pry some of the magnetic rails over a bit with an actual prybar and disheveled the drawer a bit but they are in. And a lot shinier than everything else in there.

Local auction will be the death of me. Scored this baller bearing puller for two bucks. I suspect because it was unlabeled and nobody else bothered to Google what it was. Kind of an esoteric tool but handing for pulling the stuck input shaft bearings out of stuff liek Road Ranger transmissions and things. The puller pieces have little barbed ends that fit in between the races of a roller bearing and then are twisted 90 degrees to lock in. Retails for like $40 so not a huge score but anyway.

I've been eyeing hydraulic lift tables for some time. I've already got a bad habit of lifting things I likely shouldn't so figured I kind of need one. But they are some pricy suckers. Yesterday Harbor Freight had a a sale on the two they sell, 35% off. Not far off half price and I've not seen them cheaper. So...
After work beetled off to the closest store. "Low stock" it said online. Went to the aisle and found the last pull ticket to take up front and did. Nope. Ticket was there but they were out. Cashier looked up the Spartanburg store and said they showed to have some. So ten miles or so later. No pull tickets and no tables. They said the Gaffney store had some and gave me their phone number. Jumped in the VW truck and sped away while getting them to swear on the phone they had at least three in stock. At 7:30 PM and they close at 8. VW was unhappy with my 80 Mph and the temp tended to climb a bit alarmingly (have to look into that). Got there in time (with no steam or coolant leaking). Lady brought my table out to the parking lot on the exact same kind of table I had bought which I thought a bit amusing. Lifted it right up to my tailgate and we slid the box on. Bloody thing weighs 150 pounds. I got the 1000 lb version. I was wondering where the hell I was going to put this thing but it turns out the handle folds down flat so I can just roll it under one of my garage queens for storage. Sweet. It also immediately occurred to me this this thing sans handle might make a heckuva transmission jack for a guy without a lift. (Me) Might work under one of those MaxxJax things too.
Anyway the pictures never show the damn things at full height so here's one.

Little light weight 120 volt extension cord cutter, I mean, hedge trimmer kept quitting on me. Even with the cord not being cut. Bushes half trimmed I ambled off to Home Despot and laid down $200 for this evil bastard.
Cost like four times as much and weighs twice as much as the old one, but never mind that. I already had the weed eater and pole saw attachments. Heavy bastard but it works quite well. I was using a step ladder but with its articulation and length I didn't need the ladder anymore. So there's that. But the whole thing is pretty gawky and heavy. If you are lacking in grip and/or upper body strength I can't recommend one. It's a workout.
I stole the wrong picture actually, the one I got articulates, for twenty more dollars.

Yeah I hired a college kid to trim some bushes, and even though I warned him to not cut the cord, he did. I prepared for just such a development, and didn't give him my really good 12ga extension. Kids.

Neighbor borrowed the 120 volt one once, and my rather tatty 100 ft cord. Yep, cut the cord. I just hauled out the 50ft and 25ft cords and they kept going. I repaired the cord to my satisfaction and told them not to worry about it, but they did. About a month I cut the same cord. Dammit. It's not 100 foot anymore.
A couple years later (Yes, that trimmer is fairly old) Helene came by and they used a long cord to keep their freezer going off my generators for about a week. After the power came back on they forced the 100 ft . cord they had used on me. Partly because they never forgot the hedge trimmer incident. Nice to have such neighbors.

Bought this about two weeks ago.
It works but I can't say I recommend it. Heavy, for what it is. A tad heavier than the equivalent NoCo booster. Slow. It charges the internal capacitors and will NOT boost a darn thing until it's quite ready. Unlike another such booster I have, it has countdown display so at least you are informed of what it is doing. That's nice. Also like other capacitor boosters, you get about 30 seconds to get cranked up. It times out after that and you are forced to wait until it recharges, catches its breathe, whatever.
The big advantage of battery style boosters is that most of them can (on e way or another) power a running vehicle without a battery or a functioning alternator. For a few minutes at least. Acting like a temporary charged up car battery. With capacitor style ones like this Milwaukee that's a big no. 30 seconds of boost is all you get.
A plus over NoCo's is it isn't so picky when faced when a hammer dead car battery. It WILL boost where NoCo's sometimes balk.
And the main reason I bought it, charge times. A big NoCo with only a USB-C charge port can take up to two days to recharge. The others with a 12 volt input can still take an hour or two. With this thing, I just slap a spare battery in it and off we go. If you have enough spare batteries recharge time is immaterial.

I got one of those but the handle was driving me nuts with the cable tether. I wanted to lower and store it under my bench, but the handle was just a goof. I cut the cable off and welded a piece of flatbar on the actuator so I can just lower it with a touch of my foot. I found that I don't really need the handle at all.

Sweet! I've been pushing it most of the way under a car. I'm going to look at doing the same and then it should go ALL the way under.
