Very cool Randy. Congrats. I assume of course that she was allowed to drive the car away onto the honeymoon?

Congratulations to all! That's wonderful! And great that she wanted to include your car.

And that she didn't even make you repaint it to a more acceptable color just shows what a good kid she is!

If I had a nickel for everytime I heard that...... I had my hands in my pocket, I only walked away with it because the groom picked it up off the ground and handed it to me.... if I hadnt thought it would be bad manners I woulda left it on the floor....

Actually, I was happy I had enough cash to cover it....was a little worried when I saw how many people showed up at the restaurant.

The SIL used to work there, got all the appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks on the house. :vic

Yeah, they figured the apps and drinks in the total, calulated the tip, then backed out the apps and drinks :wtf
 
Seems a little weird that they did that, but also sounds fair to me. Whenever I get a discount on food, like when I take advantage of "Kids eat free" at the IHOP, or I use a coupon, I always calculate tip BEFORE the discount. The restaurant is giving me a discount on the purchase of the food, but the waitress still had to order, run and tend to that food, so I make sure to cover it in the tip.

But I'm anal about tipping well, so don't mind me :) I'm sure your bill was a sight higher than my typical IHOP night ;)
