Any mods around?

I should have posted this here for all the new comers from VMF :)

Once we all get settled down, lets get back to Mustangs and fun....I started a thread to help us all adjust :)

Chris

You can still send pm's I sent several replies to people asking me what the new place to go is. Dr. Vette made a post this morning saying he was going to leave vmf, and I posted saying I hope you make it to the new community, that got some pm's/questions on where the new place is. That thread is now deleted.
I was wondering how long it would be before my thread was deleted. I intentionally didn’t say anything controversial to see if that would keep it up. I guess not.

I didn't start anything with the mods or admins on VMF. I have been careful but post in a way people get the gist of what I am thinking. It seems that the supreme douche considers anyone smart enough to see through his BS as a cancer. So I am obviously a cancer that has not committed a bannable offense, yet.

Anyway, I have mad contact with Dave and we are texting as I type this so thanks to all.

That doesn't appear to be the metric anymore. Proving you are smart enough to be on to their BS is all it takes for you to be on their list it seems.

I just told Dave that I am going to stop posting there to offer help to others for now. I don't want to get banned but until something changes like Comrade Douche leaving the powers that be realizing what he did and give them the option to invite the banned members back. If they don't I am not going to help them make money anymore.

I'd like to keep my account but I'm sure I'll end up banned if they go through my PM's. I just reached out to Grimbrand and Nos681 to aware them on stangfix, they were both regular contributors and people I've spoken to before.

"Don't start none and there won't be none" comes to mind, but sometimes ya just gotta poke the bear or throw a rock at that hornet's nest.

Thats what was posted, I took it as its the members fault for causing trouble.
Yeah, I don't think Dave understood what was going on behind the curtain as he posted this after and did converse with Ron:
'I just checked and I am able to start conversations with some other members but not with @Ronstang1966 . Hmmmm.'

lol this place is that old? Damn it took it awhile to take off, the site owner is probably pretty excited.
We "took off" a long time ago. Emilio took over some years ago after the founder went off in another direction. Things have gotten quieter around here the last few years with mostly just a core of original members keeping the lights on with support from Emilio. As has been said elsewhere, a lot of us wrapped up our main mustang project cars years ago with the occasional member bringing a new one on board from time to time. Most of the crew are first gen owners. We dabble in lots of other automotive stuff here now too. We've got an early Bronco in the works by KB3, for example. I've got an early F1 and a Model A w/ a blown flat head in the works. So bring in your Mustangs but know we like all things Ford here.
