I've noticed that too. You're permanently banned and permanently logged in at the same time. Now I suppose that could just be some glitch in the system, but it might also be on purpose. I'd take it as a supreme compliment if I were you.
I can see all I need to see without even logging in.
Why is it every time I see your avatar mug pic I think I'm looking at Kevin Kline at a party that must have featured free beer?

That chart only shows and up tick in ‘REACTIONS’. The number of posts remained fairly constant. That was likely due to the bots throwing grenades to get more reactions. This whole episode reminds me of Highly paid CEOs who come into a company, sell off all its long term assets to make a quick buck. They look like miracle workers, then they take their golden parachute, retire with a fortune, and watch the company tank.
What type of job are you looking for? Lots of potential contact here…
I actually received an invite to answer a survey from them. as one of the biggest remaining posters, they wanted to know what I thought of the site and the changes they made…. I politely tore them a new one and told them how the mass exodus of all the most knowledgeable people has ruined the site. Don’t know if the survey was anonymous or not, but I expect to be banned one day soon.

Is it just me , or arent't some of the moderators here also still moderators on VMF?
I wonder if they know all about who owns Fora, Vertical Scope, how badly the stock has been tanking and that they use a modified version of the same XenForo software used to build this forum and countless others.

I'm in the same boat....err... Mustang... so to speak, post-retirement. I have monthly income but want to contribute and have an impactful second career. I have a few applications out.
Do a little searching on Vertical scope, and you get a very familiar tale…..
Redflagdeals is ruined. Read the Site Suggestions thread. It's an absolute clown show. There is some new hire JaredDiPane who is focussed on according to his linkedin resume increasing clicks. The mods are terrible and whenever someone complains about them the post gets removed and I notice long time members get banned. Toxic site. They launched an AI bot called Frank on other forums. There is a rumor that a number of AI bots are posting on the site to create traffic.
Here’s about another site….
If Verticalscopes aim is to destroy forums, then from my experience they get 5 stars.
I used to be a member of a popular forum, when Verticalscope took over, that popularity and the spirit of the forum, died.
The VSadmin do not listen to members concerns, instead ignoring, or even deleting any posts they do not like.
They have banned members for asking the 'wrong' questions.
The great community that once thrived on that forum has gone, which is a huge shame.
And they continue on another site:
VS took over a forum I have been a member of for almost 20 years. It was a thriving active place, lots of interaction and member support, interesting squabbles, lifelong friendships formed, a wealth of information for people needing help, excellent moderation. VS came in and started throwing their weight around, making changes, that many of the members had problems with, but concerns and questions are not addressed, either ignored or just deleted. There have been some disrespectful treatment of members as well. Many of us have left, and it is beginning to be filled with bots and AI posts and spam. Such a shame.
Still more, all these date over a year ago…guess we should have seen it coming:

Very successful company if their goal is to kill off forums! They have completely ruined a very popular forum, they blatantly ignore members and ban any that speak out against them. Horrific, the owners of this company need to look into how their employees are handling their business.

Most of it was in the Off Topic Lounge. Veggie was running a sure fire string of threads about the weather, guns, knives and who knows what all. All by design in case anybody didn't realize. And some of it, perhaps a great deal of it, was a few of us causing a fuss over mods being replaced and K's entry. Speaking of K, I hear he's auditioning for the leading role in a new indie movie. The working title is "Mussolini Gets a Forum". Supposedly it's a tragic comedy but don't hold me to that. I'd pay to see it.

That rumored committee that doesn't exist? It doesn't exist, but if it did I would imagine they would become quite valuable indeed.
I mean, just imagine the story such shirts could tell. Of heroes and villains, battlefield strategies, summary executions, clandestine hi-jinks, even espionage. And losing a battle in order to win a war. A fight against tyranny. A Game of Thorns.

I wonder if someone could purchase VMF from VS before it gets completely Vertically-Scrapped and goes down ForaFrank's crapper with the rest of their stock and sites, and re-launch a new and improved or combined with Stang Fix or at least under the same umbrella.

Get the feeling we aren't seeing the larger picture. Forums were a great place to like minded people to talk and discuss issues. If you haven't noticed, there is a huge push to kill freedom of speech, last thing the evil few want is for the minions to have a place to spread information freely.
Most all other formats are controlled, forums were one of the last forms of internet that regular people could use to spread information.

It's mostly based out of Canada from what I've seen so far. Canada has its own problems, too.
The web is full of the same regurgitated deacription of Vertical Scope but no one has anything positive to say about. Quite the opposite for what I see here.
