Wow! Incredible video--long and worth every second---I had tears. Please watch.

All I can say is wow. Talking about someone who never gives up. Very emotional video. Thanks for sharing it.

I echo Craig's statement, thanks for sharing the video. I think MSG Benavidez can add great speaker to his long list of qualifications. For those who haven't watched the video but checked out this thread, please watch to understand. Don't let the length scare you off. I had a movie on TV when I came across this post. I paused the movie thinking, ehh I'll watch a few minutes, I'm not gonna watch some video almost 25 minutes long. My movie is still on pause, the video clip is that good!

How can you tell a great speaker? When almost 25 minutes of measured time seems like only a few while listening to them. MSG Benavidez certainly meets that measure. A truly great man, and contrary to his statement, a true hero. Not to turn this thread political, but I just have to say, it's a shame it took our country so long to properly honor this man and many more like him!

Well said, I actually was unable to quit listening to this guy--had to wipe my eyes a couple of times---I am by no means trying to lessen the signifigance of anyones service time-but this guy is what courage truly is--you react to the situation not thinking about the recognition your actions might bring-the recent loss we had on this forum is tragic--Sam was one of whom he spoke--the real heroes--I think this should be mandatory for all schools to play! Why is he not a household name??

Thanks for posting this, it's a very inspirational video. Not only should it be played in schools, it should be played at the beginning of each new Senate & House session.
