Wild weather picture...

This was posted on one of the local TV Stations' websites... Not sure if part of the picture was "enhanced" or not, but I can tell you that the clouds WERE that color the other day....

These are from last year during a storm that had rotation. No funnel ever dropped, but it sure looked like it could.

So far, nothing worth noting this year.

When I was a kid we were always told to watch out if the sky turned green. That was a sure sign of tornado conditions. Damned if that didn't seem to be true.

we dont get tornados here, but we learnt the greener the sky the bigger the hail.
I have never seen one that dark.
Looks like armageddon.

Yup. Light being refracted from hail being shot up to the top of the storms by strong updrafts.
That line of storms hit us late afternoon, so the sky turned a funky shade of green and orange. Luckily, we only got heavy rain and some wind.
