I am so damn proud of her. One thing I can say is when it comes to working a manual shifting car, she has all the confidence in the world. Even with manual steering. Today she drove Shag up and over the local mountain range (via Hwy 84 thru La Honda for you loco locals) to the coast for a crab sandwich and a bowl of artichoke soup in Pescadero, CA. She was sweet enough to let me ride shotgun as long as I took pics. Good weather, good country driving, good woman.

Parnelli Momma shifts that car better than you!!

:lol

Don't know what I've started but let me tell you. In no time was she saying "Honey, you need to adjust this seatbelt and fix that and blah, blah, blah" all while she was tearing through the mountains.

Talking about power shifting. We turn onto the coastal highway and suddenly we see the motorcycle coming up quickly behind us. I tell her to jump on it which she does and then I said "shift, shift, shift" which she demonstrated some very impressive power shifting at the 2500-2600 rpm range. She has quickly learned to listen to the sound of the motor to find the optimum shifting range.

Next time, I might as well bring a book on tape or better yet a pillow and blanket..... :ecit

Or a bottle of tequila or scotch... :craz

.....must slow down and read completely.....

All I got out of this was that your wife drove 75 miles to get shagged, got crabs, choked on soup, and you had a shotgun... :eek
...and there's video of it? :puke

my wife teaches people to drive school buses, when people put their hand on the inside of the steering wheel to turn they get fussed at and are referred to as a "hooker"
How do I know this? Because that's how I drive my Mustang also...
