Removed the front suspension and steering from my 65 FB. Found this on the driveway when I was done. Any ideas? Thanks

On the left is my paycheck. On the right is how I feel about it. But seriously, I do not recognize the item on the right. Maybe something that's been lodged in the front suspension system after being picked up by a front tire?

Personally, I think it's too small to even be a part within a suspension system if it isn't a nut or zerk fitting....which it isn't...

Debated on whether or not to put the dime in the picture...but knew it would provide for some entertaining posts. Thank you all for the input...I'm not too concerned about what it is...just haven't seen anything like it nor can I imagine what it could be for.

It looks like the dinglefritz connector pin from a Manheim C-437P.

Don't know what the thing on the right is, but it's sitting on a piece of plain sawn red oak.
