where is the cheapest place to by a radiator for my 1966 200ci mustang?

Just got to installing the radiator the PO bought (included in the trunk) for the Mustang I bought for my son and the radiator seems to be for a V8. Lower return on the wrong side. Its a shame as this was a brand new radiator. Now looking for the right one.. Don't have a ton of money to spend.. Where is the cheapest place to buy one

I doubt any local stores would have one in stock, but NAPA, autozone, etc., probably can get one within 1-2 days. If you are willing to buy over the Internet, you might try RockAuto, NPD, CJ PonyParts, VA Classic, etc.

the angles would almost crimp the hose coming around the bottom.. I can't see that working., but open to anyone that has done it.

Todd, I got the one for my 68 from here. I think it was around $130.

Thanks! I will call him this morning..

I got mine and new hoses at Advance auto. Aftermarket parts but work great! Rad & two hoses was about $135.00. Fit was good, mounted in factory holes. I had to order it but it was delivered to the store the next day for pick up.

Is the lower return on the driver's side? If so, then you might find a water pump which would also point on the driver's side thus matching up with the lower return.

Doing this would give you a much more efficient crossover cooling system. But honestly I don't know if such a water pump for a 200ci is available.

I like that option, but don't know how I would go about finding one.. I'll try google to start...

Very helpful people... $50 to move the inlet or $140 for a new one. Dropping mine by to see if they can move it..
