Where did you get your battery relo kit?

Did y'all buy a kit or just buy the parts?

I plan on doing this this coming weekend and need to source and buy the parts.

I make my own since I have a stock of quality marine grade wire. When I run out, dunno.

I pieced mine together but mounted the battery (steel tray & Optima) under the package tray and ordered 1/0 welding cable. Awaiting relay and verifying the ign. wires.

Bought individual parts. Used a high quality set of 20 ft / 2 ga jumper cables as the main lead - $40 vs nearly 100 for 0 ga welding at the time. Bonus is that left me with the negative lead from the jumpers, which I used to make cables for the boat.

Lots of folks will say 2 ga is too light, but I see less than a volt or so drop - and that is cranking with the old boat anchor starter, not a PMGR starter.

Not to Hijack, but does anyone know if you can fit a set of golf clubs in the trunk with the battery in the back?

Can't say as I don't golf but I put mine over the rear axle to make room in case I need to haul a body
