What paint to use?

I am about to install my front windshield in my 69 Mach 1...

A pet peeve of mine is when the A pillars are not blacked out and you can see body color at the edge of the windshield, which is going to be extremely obvious with my bright red car.

What type of paint should I use over the 2 stage Glasurite red paint? Other than dewaxer/degreaser, do I need to prep the area?

I am concerned with incompatibilities between paint types and possibly interfering with the window weld bond...

I would clean it with wax/grease remover hit it good with scotch bright pad to scuff the paint clean again with wax/grease and shoot it with epoxy primer.

As a glass shop I use black pinch weld primer, you can get it at any glass shop, or you could mask it off and spray it with Krylon. Rich.
