What does this mean on my water bill?

They have no accurate way to determine sewer usage so they use your water meter reading to guess the sewer usage. Use less water means they will charge you less for sewer. I have a building that has no sewer connection but am forced to pay sewer fees based on my water meter (landscape water)!

Scumbag water companies pulled this scam in OZ last year.
They decided that the sewer use would be 90% of the water use.
I had to get some work done on my swimming pool so when i realized that filling it up from the tap would cost me a double whammy, i did the only thing i could do -

I waited till the arsehole neighbour went away and used his tap :yah :yah

Yup. Our city started doing that years ago. Every couple of months our bill would double. Now, even though I live in the city limits(thanks annexation), my water is handled by a different municipality and I don't have sewer usage.

Should I use more water or less:

"Feb & Mar water use determines new sewer consumption factor starting April".
It is kind of like you pay for the food you eat and the water you use to wash it down, now you are paying for the food again and the cities system when you wash it away. Kinda get you coming and going!

No sewer here we just let it pile up! hehehehe

Septic tank. When we lived in CA there was a flat fee for water and sewer. That fee went from $30 a month when we moved in to $120 a month by the time we moved 15 years later.

Now I pay $35 a month to have the water I own pumped to my house and nothing for sewer.

Think that's something look at your electric bill. WE used about 70 bucks worth of electricity last month but our bill was 300 time it gets taxed and all the fees that I have no damn idea what are. There always coming up with new fees to increase their income. There's no limits to how much they can waste no wait spend.

Frank,
I think your water company is trying to convince you that maybe you need to consider getting a smaller aquarium :thum
