Tell 'em to cancel it unless you get if for $x. Works everytime. Here's a trick that I did one time you may be able to use. While on hold with Sirius to discuss the rate increase, our youngest (6 months old at the time) starting crying like nobody's business. I mean raising sand. The longer I was on hold, the more I neglected him, the louder he got. Finally a rep got on the line and asked if he could help me. I gave him my account number and proceeded to tell him I had been on hold for x minutes and didn't appreciate it. I asked him if he knew what I had been listening to for that time and before he could respond I held the phone up to the mouth of the screaming kid for about 15 seconds. (That's a long time for baby screaming) Yes, seeing daddy there not picking him up made him scream even louder. Amazingly when I put the phone back to my ear the guy was still there. I couldn't believe it. I told the guy I wanted my prior rate and had it done within 5 seconds.
I like the lifetime rate deal. I didn't know they still did it.
