What did you get done on your Stang today????

I took the Saleen for a drive today... for grocery store duty. Oh the humanity.... :no

Ronda's car got matte black stripes on the hood. Matches the (nearly invisible) Matte Black "MUSTANG" side stripes.

Drove the 64 1/2 back from Carrollton, Ky after spending the weekend with our friends from Derby City and other clubs at September in the Park. About half way back my speedo went wacky bounding all over the place. For several miles the mileage meter stopped then started working again. After around 75 miles the speedo needle started working again correctly. any suggestions on what may be wrong?

A broken tooth on the speedo cable perhaps? Gunk in the speedo cable or speedo head?

I pulled mine out of the garage sat so i could get into the attic..... If all the craziness would stop around here i might get to drive it sometime...

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. That makes me special!

not much accomplished but I did manage to get the doors stripped, the dash sanded, and everything painted with SEM Landau black.

And what exactly is that clear liquid in that jug behind her seat? I thought 'shine was carried around in glass bottles.

I think I finally got my intake gasket problem

sorted out. The last two days I drove the Mustang about 70 miles with no problems :yah so hopefully I got it sorted out. Today I finally got around to changing my oil to some of this

I've used Amsoil for many years (since 1988) but this is one of their new high zinc oils, for those flat lifters.
With only a couple of months of good driving weather, I guess I'll have to :steer.

I can finally make a post here again. Though it's not much, I finally got the new tires for the coupe. One step closer to getting it back on the ground!

Replaced rocker panel moldings and scuff plates. The aluminum repop stuff is shiney and nice looking, but they are pitifully flimsy and cheap. They bend if you breathe on them. The holes in the scuff plates were no where near where the actual holes are. Had to drill out the holes to be able to mount them.

glad to you you sorted it out Larry!

Worked on wrapping up fabrication. Made the brackets and plates for the roll bar. I got the plated welded in and the brackets ready to weld to the bar. Big thanks to Rich at MTF for answering questions on a Sunday to allow me to get things done. :thu Getting ever so close to wet sanding and paint!!!

Don't get me wrong, your car looks awesome but it looks totally like a miniature model in that pic for some reason. Even the grass looks like the fake stuff used in scale model scenes.
