What did you get done on your Stang today????

Part number ST-EXPORT from Street or Track. I had all of the parts powdercoated either clear or "chrome".

That's what I thought. Does it have two bolts that go into the firewall? Those don't go in the cowl correct?

Yes, there are two bolts that go through the firewall. That's why that part of the brace is installed on my car. It would be a pain to put those two bolts in when the interior and dash is assembled.

Thanks for the information.

installed the other t5 today. things actually went VERY well compared to what I went thru getting the other one in there. everything fit & went together with no issues. if anyone remembers, it took about 8 hrs trying to get the other trans to mate up last yr, about 5 mins today. it starts, runs, pulls forward & backs up. no annoying tranny noises anymore that make people think it has a gear drive. i'll test drive tomorrow when its daylight. if all goes well, i'll schedule it in for a carb/timing adjustment & maybe get to start driving it!

went for a quick & I mean quick, test drive today. had to get it done before the storms got here so just took a trip thru the neighborhood & so far, all seems good! nothing made racket, fell off or acted ugly, so figure its a plus. maybe tomorrow I can get out & go a little further down the road, depending on the weather. we had the leftovers of the bad tornado storm come thru. bet jon k. is having fun getting home from work, winds toppled a crane into the middle of the road he travels...

Its pretty nice out now man...Hope your smoking some tires :)

I made it home ~9:30p Steve, a coworker told me about the crane landing on a car off the new bridge being built so I decided to find a safe place with cold beer to wait it out :beer thanks for thinking of me. Other route is a 25+mi. detour into Nashville...
Can't wait to see the '69 on the road, maybe i'll get there one day. Still working on wiring and mounting plate for my trunk mount circuit breaker and solenoid.

Got all of my interior and trunk seams sealed up. I used a combination of urethane sealer and brushable from the can, depending on the particular seams. I need to get some plugs tomorrow morning. That way I can plug all of my threaded holes (shifter, seat belt, etc), and get my Lizardskin sprayed. I'll post pics tomorrow when I get it sprayed.

Well today I hacked out the Rear extension panel under the rear seat, accidental cut my fuel line, cut a 6" piece of the fuel line out and replaced it with a rubber line, bent and molded some sheet metal to fit, and welded it in.

Got the Lizardskin laid down in the interior today. Pics are posted over in my build thread. I didn't apply it to the roof interior yet because I still have a little more work to do to it.

Yesterday, while I smoked a pork butt and 3 bacon logs, I cleaned the engine. Then I polished all the aluminum, stainless steel and chrome on the engine.
