If it is blowby, your PCV valve may be clogged or you have excessive pressure (blow-by) in the engine. A clogged breather cap shouldn't be leaking: it's a source of fresh air into the engine crankcase.
Without baffles, you had leaks. Maybe it was dirty enough you didn't notice? Test drive complete, everything sounds good (or no sounds) and I can now wear out my rear tires equally.bj
Have to recalibrate the speedometer tomorrow, a simple process with it being electronic.
"LastDeadLast" said:Tore out the transmission, clutch and PP, learned that.. apparently, I have no clue about how to install a manual transmission because I destroyed the pilot bearing the first time. This had the result of trashing the clutch and PP. The flywheel should be OK once I get it resurfaced.
I've already ordered the parts to fix her.. along with a new clutch fork and pivot stud. I'm hoping that everything will be in by next weekend so I can put everything back together.
