What are your plans for NYE?

Since I seem to have contracted malaria or denge fever and have felt like canned ass since Christmas eve, I no doubt will be be in a nyquil induced coma (again) by around 8 PM.

sorry to hear that Sluggo, if being sick wasn't bad enough, it really sucks during the holiday's!

Playing with the kiddo, toasting the new year at 9:00 or so, then to bed by 9:30. Going to sleep sometime later :roll

Well, it's 1:40am and we're trying to finish off the last bottle of champagne we opened. Had a great time, invited lots of neighbors and parents/children friends of my 12yo's. I think everyone had a good time as the last left after midnight. Ended up with ~30 people including kids, at least 6 couples. I didn't buy any fireworks luckily as a few people brought bags full. I had a nice big ember filled fire going in my witches cauldren to roast marshmellows and keep warm for those that were cold. Lots of fireworks going off for >1hr. I found an M-80 I had for years, I took it 100ft. down the street to set it off, they were all laughing at me when I hauled a$$ after lighting it with my torch, when it went off they stopped laughing...

I think this may turn into a yearly thing at my house. Hope everyone had as good a time ringing in the NY as we did. They didn't finish 1/2 the beer I bought, good thing I only bought stuff I would drink later!
Jon
