Well, things went from bad to worse!

After posting about the tornado and pics and putting the roof back on, we took a planned vacation to Destin, Fl (planned 2 months ago). Nice condo on the beach etc... Well, the first night we were here my wife slipped on the steps going down to the beach and her leg was hurting after the bad fall. So, this morning I took her to the Emerald Coast urgent care in Ft. Walton. Well after x-rays, she broke the fibula in several places just up from the foot. What a friggin' vacation from hell this is turning out to be...just damn. How in the H-E-double LL do these things happen all at once??? I give the fu*****k up...for now, anyway. :shee :skul BTW, she is very petite and certainly not a "big" person to land and cause this kind of injury. Weeping quietly in Ft. Walton... :wtf
 
Very sorry to hear that. Are you cancelling the vacation and returning home right away? Even after a bunch of crap there's got to be some sunshine. Hang in there.
 
Sorry to hear that and I hope she is OK.

Well several years back we went to Big bear on family extended weekend ski trip, my wife slipped on some ice in the parking lot of the ski rental place when we were loading the skis. She sprained he wrist and was told not to ski during the weekend. Falling would have caused it to be worse. We stayed and the kids and I went skiing and she read in the lodge. We all took turns sitting with her and getting her what she wanted or needed.

Turned out to be a great weekend even for her.

Yeah, we are staying. She is getting a different type of cast tomorrow...it's the "blue boot of shame"...lol I keep stuffing those loratabs into her and she is oblivious to much...lol. Both of our grown boys are staying with us so there is enough caring for her to go around.
 
That sucks. Sorry to hear she got hurt. What bad luck.

Well, you could dose her up on pain meds... wait till she falls asleep and then head down to Sammy's Gentlemens Club :roll
 
That's tough...should have come on over to Panama City........fall in the cheaper places.....
 
Get her a nice beach chair/lounge and a nice drink and set her up on the beach.

Now you have two questions for her when you get back to the hotel...do you have a headache? and....does your leg hurt? :roll
