I bought my '65 convertible in 1972, my first car. It ran well and the interior was nice but boy oh boy did it need a paint job.
I always had it in the back of my mind to have a nice paint job put on it but life always seemed to get in the way. Kids need braces, house needs a roof, etc. Well, the time finally came and I put it in a local shop that had a good reputation and 14 months later.....

I went with the original color and brought it back to stock after having modified it as a 17 year old. I told the wife that I was fixing all the IMPROVEMENTS I had made back in the day.
It's very satisfying to finally get the old girl back in shape and looking like she should!
