I welded an X brace to tie in my subframe connectors to the convertible plate on the bottom of the car. The tubing is 1 1/4" diameter (same as my Global West SFC). I fabricated some mounts that weld to the SFC so that the brace will bolt to them then to the convertible plate. It turned out pretty nice. My welds look like crap but I will get it down eventually. I plan on cleaning it up and then having it powder coated. It should help keep my car a bit stiffer. I need as much stiffness as I can get with the new motor coming in. 525 RWHP tends to twist things. :ecit
I still need to fully weld the mount on the SFC and make a boxed end. That will give me something to do tomorrow. I want to thank TonyR for loaning me his welder.
