Waterless antifreeze?

Anybody using any waterless antifreeze in their Mustang? What do you think of it, is it OK to use in our older cars.

I will take the lack of a reply as a big no! I plan to convert my car to this this winter, I will let everyone know how it works for my sprint 200.

Used the Evans antifreeze several years ago, that stuff is slicker than whales snot. If you don't have any leaks now this seems to find them for you. You have to make sure you get all traces of water out of your system, including the block. If not mixing the two results in a gel. Took it out and would be hard pressed to try it again, you results may vary. Just too much of a pain in the butt to me.

Nick how's the green one coming along?

Still waiting for the painter to paint the remaining pieces so I can bolt it all back together :(

Wouldn't this mean that you will always end up with a gel since condensation forms inside the block all the time when it sits for periods?

Not sure, I do understand what your saying. Just remember having to unhook the radiator hoses and running the car while watching the temperature gauge. Shutting it off just before it overheated and letting it steam off, may have had to remove the thermostat also. Been awhile so can't remember ever detail except it didn't seem worth it.

Here's a link to a PDF on the installation: www.hrpworld.com/client.../683_4.pdf

That stinks you've been waiting on that for a couple of months now. Is he that busy or just dragging it out?

Neither really. He has a full time job, this is side business for him and he has opted to focus on other 'priorities' than completing my stuff. Frustrating situation and leave it at that
