I am sorry. I see all these cars and think there is NO way all will be restored, especially depending on the kids my age, They would rather work on a civic because it's not rusty and it was in Fast and the Furious man!

are those last photo's real or photoshop? I can't believe such a place exists!

I believe it to be real. I think its a mustang salvage yard in colorado some where. There was talk of it before.

I thought I have seen some of those before. I'm going to Colorado next week. I'm going to check it out.

Wow, these pics make me wanna to jump the next plane and get some of these old beauties! Some of them look like they could be saved with a proportionally effort.

Damn!

that superbird brings back memories. i used to know where one was in pinellas park fl sitting just like that. the fenders had rusted around the front/top edges & the nose was drooping....

i don't get it? if it's a salvage yard, then why would people get upset? does the owner not sell any of the parts to support the builds of other mustangs?

They're out there. A few years ago, I helped a few guys pull a couple of fastbacks out of a good sized yard. Cars everywhere and it took a lot of hassle to get the guy to let them go, even at a good return. He had this delusion of grandeur that he was going to fix some of them, yet hadn't touched them in ages. For example, the cuda with an oak tree growing from the engine bay.

Crazy car hoarder / crazy cat lady, same - same

The guy I bought my car from let it sit for 20 years before his daughter finally convinced him he was never going to restore it.

i wouldn't call it a salvge yard then. i would call that a hoarder. big difference.

That's a bit more civil than what I called him.

I'm sure he does sell parts off them, gnaws on them like a rat, Why stack them on the roofs? I guess i get upset because I am a serious mustang freak, To me it's like watching my family sitting in a death camp.

Does anyone know for sure where these cars are located ? I'm originally from Colorado, and my brothers still live there. Sounds like a good excuse to go see them.

Aurora, CO after snooping around different sites in 2006 he "supposedly"wanted 8500$ per fastback. :hide

Which is probably why he still has a field full of them.

I'm going to be in Windsor, North of there next week working. If I can make time I too will check it out.
