what did you hit? Pedestrian?
it has radar that will brake you before you hit a pedestrian or another car. It will let you hit a pothole at 80 mph. Ask me how i know. Controlled pretty well after blowout at speed. A two inch rip in the sidewall lets all of the air out right then. Runflat schmunflat, i would have rather had a spare. I am now at the volvo stealership waiting for the to put on a new tire and rim and fill it with swedish air. I was a sucker and bought the wheel and tire warranty coverage, so the tow, tire and rim are covered.

Are you parking using the Helen Keller method again?

And you dmagaed the rim.

Too much power from that new Volvo for you? :steer

Pat, i know you are a volvo guy. Go drive an s60t6. It s a total trip to have that much power in a car this size.

I have been thinking about driving one. They are getting great reviews. :steer
I just know if I drive it I will want it, and that isn't in the budget right now. maybe soon.

While you're getting the tire replaced, have them check your outside ambient temp sensor calibration. Seems a bit off. :nut

Daughter did something similar in her (my) Focus last month. She hit a piece of metal in the road. Damaged a motor mount also.
