Under-the-hood Wiring

Hey guys! I just got back my '66 Hipo GT which was in mid-restoration and I'm trying to piece some things back to together myself. There are some dangling wires under the hood and I don't know where there supposed to go or am I missing a part somewhere. I'd appreciate any input.

Looking at the attached pictures, the wires circled in red are the ones in question. Then there's a cable circled in green which appears to be coming from under the car and with the grommet, it looks like it's supposed to go through the firewall. Not sure where that's supposed to go too.

Thanks

The cable circled in green is your speedometer that connects to the back of the cluster. When Mid gets here he can walk you through those other wires.

There should only be 2 ring connectors: one for the power at the battery side of the starter solenoid; the other is a ground wire for a bolt that goes through the starter solenoid (or voltage regulator...it's been a long time since I did one of these...). Those other ring connectors are not factory, and you'll need to describe the wire colors.

Thanks @Midlife! The 2 ring connectors you speak of appear to be already connected.

I tried to clean off the wires in question and they all appear to be red. The one circled in blue might be from the tach on the rally pac, but I'll need to trace that one. The one circled in green I don't know either.

But they all come into the engine compartment from here, circled in red.

What all is supposed to be hanging on this side of the engine bay, besides the windshield wash fluid bag?

Thanks!

There's not enough detail. The voltage regulator sits near where the washer pump goes. Solid Red wire is probably an ammeter feed. Your washer and overflow bottles are not stock, but go forward on the driver's side fender apron.
