Its kinda slow at work today and I'm bored out of my mind (and its only 930...)....so here is my thought. Everyone has until midnight tonight to find on Craigslist a local "project", Car, motorcyle or truck, then we will post a poll to see which project is, 1) the best deal and 2) the coolest project.

Only rule is, the project must be within 100 miles of your house, this kinda of limits Mark (silverblueBP), but, its his choice to live out in the middle of nowhere....

let see what you come up with, post a link to the ad, or copy and paste the ad and pictures.... Also add a short blurb about why you picked the project you did....

Winners will get FREE beer...tomorrow

Here is my candidate:

1964 Volvo 122S. Drop a 5.0 and a 5 speed in it. It's in the Ford family and a neat car.

Sweet! It's already GO!

Here's a cool 48. Fat fenders and a coupe to keep the sun off of our old bald heads!

Lower it, paint it flat black with red pin stripes and a cool flat head V8 with a slight chop top and cool moon caps and the all important horse blanket seat covers, and there you have it a cool rat rod.

Or nice black cherry paint job with black leather and a kicken big block with a blower sticking out of the hood and some super fat wheels and tires on rear and skinnies on back....

I could just go on and on...

and no I am not the seller! If I had this car it would not be for sale!

Its already deleted by author. What was it?

I have a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 that needs a new home. I purchased this car with the intentions of restoring it, but I don't have the time or extra money to put in it right now. All the glass is good except the windshield which was broken so I trashed it. I have removed the hood, hinges, trunk lid, doors and wiring and have it all in storage. There is NO motor, but I do have a C4 transmission that I will throw in the deal. I have all the trim parts. Areas that will need work: The front floorboards will have to be replaced as they are rusted out. Both doors have a little rust on the bottom skin panel. Both rear pillars have some rust spots down near the bottom of the drip rail. A couple of there slots on top of the dash have rusted out from water setting under the dash pad. The bottom lip that the front windshield sets on has rusted, can be fixed by trim off the old sheet metal and welding on a new pieced of 1/8" steel. Both rear quarter panels are rusted out at the bottom. The rest of the car is in good shape. The areas that have rusted are pretty common on this old of a car and you can repair them either using stock 18 gauge sheet metal or you can purchase the replacement panels from several different classic car parts companies. The bench seats are in great shape and were recovered less than 2 years ago. I have a ton of pictures to send at your request. I have a clear title in hand. Would like to see it gone before the holiday.

$350 Need to sell !!!

1964 1/5 Mustang - $3600 (Macon )
I have a 1964 1/2 Mustang with 260 v8 3 speed in floor for sale. This will make a great project car for someone with title in hand. Asking $3600

I think what this means is...if someone has a title for this car, it would make a great project that can legitimately go on the road! If no title...run far, far away!
