Trailer ideas...

I think people do it all wrong. It would be sweet to cut the hood /fenders off, and use the front as the trailer. Maybe even Pull it backwards, put some reflective red brake lights in the headlight buckets. That would be neat and have more use able space. More work, but you could always section out the passenger compartment, and have trunk / hood, and two axle trailer.

Craig, I think you should buy Nicks sleezeanor and cut it in half for a trailer. How cool would that be, an eleanor coupe pulling a sleezeanor trailer/FB!!!
I love that idea!!!

Here's a pic I found while yahooing '67 mustang trailer', as you can see what you do with the front makes/breaks the look to me, I'd want something more aero but still '60's if I could pull it off with sheet alum./metal but gives you a good idea.

Those are all cool Pete. I have this 57 Chevy, I have been wondering what to do with it. It's pretty much useless but I swapped a few Stang parts for it. Maybe it would make a good trailer?

It's still got the rear end under it and it's not too rusty. The front frame rails are bent so I figure it got wrecked and motor yanked when It wasn't too old. Interior is all there but no fabric anymore, some one had fun shooting out the glass and jumping on the roof. Trunk lid is bent up too but all the trim is inside the car.

seeing as the boot lid is trashed, the 57 chev would make a great lounge

WOW, that was my original idea! We have a family room we plan to make into a 50's diner theme and that's why I traded the Stang parts for the 57. I desperately need a trailer for the Stang however. I have not had many long road trips but up until now we always take two vehicles because I can't fit my wife, two boys and my self as well as all our luggage, extra tools, parts, etc. in the Stang. We are all set (registered and hotels booked) to go on the Hot rod Power Tour in 2010. I bought a hitch on eBay, just need the trailer. If I make one, I got to get busy! I may just have to rent little U-Haul...
