Today was a good Milestone Day.

This morning, I had an appointment to get the 67 inspected. In PA, we have a yearly inspection. I left the house at 7:00AM and DROVE my 67 Mustang to the Garage. First, i had to stop and get gas, and i can see why everyone complains about filling the tank.

The car passed the inspection with flying colors. Not a single thing wrong! :ecit Now i can legally drive when ever i want! Im no longer limited to my driveway!

Heres a pic of my new inspection sticker. I wont have to worry about that again until November of 2010.

All and all it was a great day. I put my first 11 miles on the Autometer Odometer. I took a video on my cell phone. But i cant get it to transfer to the computer. :wtf

Thanks rick, He brought that up during the inspection, and i showed him i had a brand new set in packaging in the trunk, and i expressed how i would rather not put them on just yet. He said no problem.

huh? You make it sound like you never drive it.

Never legally, these guys tend to think it never left my garage / driveway. I just had some proof to clarify things a bit. :lol

Mine was the same way when they inspected it, the wipers were behind the drivers seat. Told them I would put them on, but would take them right back off since I didnt have the windshield trim on yet. Did the yahoo that did yours try and pull the turn signal lever to turn on the high beams?

It was fun, they were pretty impressed. Before i knew it there were 6 mechanics hanging around my car... Fun time!

What's up with the Granny looking interior?

Seriously, congrats!! It's been a long road you've hoe'd.

Thanks mark! :lol You know, you yelled at me the last time i posted a "milestone", Thats a big part to why i did it again! :lol

Me? Yell?????

Made fun of, mocked or typed a sarcastic remark, yes..... but yell????

Just like I tell SWMBO, you'll know it when I yell biotch.

(ok, I never call her a biotch, but it flows better) :eek:mg

Good deal Jake!

And here in Kansas, we do not have to have vehicle safety inspections. Crazy huh? They just make sure it's not reported stolen or anything.

Am I the ONLY one left not driving? Geez. Congrats Jake. We don't have inspections here for cars pre-'70 something. Kinda cool. I left my old inspection sticker on from way back when I garaged it forever. I kinda like having a sticker from '93. Know what else? It runs like it did in '93 to boot!!!!

Alas, no - mine drives up and down the driveway, but not much more now. Too many parts in transition :sad

And here in NC, no inspection for cars over 35 years old. Go figure, but I'm not complaining.
