That other forum

I'm sitting here and seeing the clock on the wall, and there's the calendar, and I keep coming to the same conclusion. The drop off of activity at VMF is going to start right away, TODAY. If we all refrain from posting anything at VMF, not even an emoji, it will be dramatic. We need to stay out of there right now if we want to expose to Vertical Scope in the most emphatic way what K has wrought. Hand's off, observe only if you must. You in?

Clicks are click. I am not giving them that. Like Sodom and Gomorrah, leave and don't look back.

As a moderator/admin I felt compelled to check on the forum 3-4 times a day, even when on vacation. Taking a day off is easy, because now I only drop in to make sure I'm not missing any PM's or whatever 2-3 times a week. As a mod I also felt I could not afford to put anyone on "ignore". One of the best parts of being fired/retired was being able to put that one person on ignore. Going by some chatter here I take it a few of you can guess who it is.

I ignored only three or 4 people the 8 years I was there(I was probably on more lists than I want to admit lol).

Two biggest offenders, Gbauer and Vette lover or whatever his name was. He was a flipper and wouldn’t listen to any of the resident experts.

Other than that…I was good. I wanted to ignore Veg and K but you can’t ignore mods?

Did anyone reach out to MidnightExpress? Unless he joined under another name I don't see him yet? Oh and LSG, Lizer?
289vert reached out to me in a PM with his email so I shared the URL.

In talking with my son last night about all this an angle to it struck me from some pseudo/political/philosophical point of view.
Consider for a moment what us old Ford mustang folk are like in general, the very audience that K found himself confronted with.
This is a demographic group not very conducive to meekly accepting dictator edicts from anyone at anytime.
Now consider how K approached this group. He didn't come in as a decent director of an organization, a good leader, a good boss, a good manager of people. Oh no, far from it. He came as a dictator would. And he commenced to dictate, his way or the highway.
Small wonder what has transpired, huh? He simply didn't understand who he was dealing with. So, you know, he's a moron.

Dude is just a (edit/del) guy who has no power in real life, migrated to the virtual world where he could hide behind a keyboard and push others around. These people demand respect instead of earn it. He's no doubt on the strata council in his condo or apartment as well.
Most people who live in the real world don't act like that, life's lessons come real fast when you disrespect or mistreat others face to face.
I worked at a large Aerospace facility that was bought out by "the Borg" aka Belgium company called Asco. They used the Canadian facility as a manager training ground and shipped no end of young eager peckerheads just like Corn Pops to test their metal on hard working professionals, most with decades of experience. It never went well, made for a miserable work environment and no end of issues. I eventually got escorted off the premises by one that I took offense to as he secretly went into my designs after hours and had his way with them. He was a typical younger man who never earned his way, instead got promoted through the ranks by other means. A guy who demanded respect for his position instead of doing things to gain respect for his position. Asco eventually discovered their mistake with him and sent him back to Belgium...with a promotion no less.
