Thank you Mrs. Johnpro

OK, fender roller will remain in the family. Interesting note that SAC69 suddenly needed to use it. I gave it to him this past Friday and Saturday when he got home from the local car show, he started using it. 5 hours later, he had both rear fender lips rolled. Good job Tom.

More tools to add to the family.

Johnpro lives in all of us.

Great generosity by Tracey; great job by Craig.

Oh, and I used that fender roller too. Cheers to Johnpro!

If it ever makes it over the the "right" :roll side, I could use that roller as well...

Good deal Craig.

And....

Rumor has it that Dodgestang has one now too.... :roll

Once I get the roller back from SAC69, I'll make an announcement to see who needs to borrow it and how urgent. This will help me decide where it will be going first, then second, then third.

Good work on everyone's part! I miss Johnpro.

Now how do we get the fender roller to Tucson? ;)

Well, Laurie & Craig, if the fender roller makes it's way to Tucson, I'd like to use it too! Please put me on that list! Thanks

Well, tonight I backed into a pole with the passenger fender of my Mustang--SLAM! Stopped the car dead...with a really big audience. It bashed in the back end of the fender something good, and the door front is slightly damaged and no longer opens. Sigh. I have a couple of spare fenders and this is my favorite (read "junky") driver, with a huge set of fat tires up front. So put me in line for the fender rolling tool as there will be no turning the wheels once I get a yellow or blue fender bolted on.

I was to take my car to a show last weekend and installed new tires/rims a few days before the show. They are wider (16x8) than what I had been using (15x7). Only hours before the 90 mile drive to the show town, I discovered the car rubbed like crazy with a full gas tank, scraping the tires over every minor dip it encountered; the car was undriveable and I'd miss the show. I frantically called KBMWRS phone in the hopes the roller was still around and he could bring it to the show so I could roll the 1/4's.

To make a long story short, I left the show early to return home and spend the rest of the day "taking care of business." The roller worked great. While using it, I was thinking of Johnpro and remembered he rolled DEL65's 1/4's in my garage some years ago before we went to a nearby poker night hosted by 70sportsroof (remember him?)

As a coincidence, a nearby Stangfixer, 67resto-coupe, installed wheels (17x9.5!) and tires a week ago and badly scraped his going over railroad tracks the day before I had my issue. Upon tracking the roller down, I advised him we may have a solution. After successfully doing mine, he borrowed it and did all 4 of his, taking care of his issues too.

Suffice to say, the Eastwood roller lives on!

Tom,
That is good news. Glad that the tool has been helpful to so many. To everyone else, it is now back in my posession and I plan to contact others who have expressed interest in using it, shorty.

Let's keep it moving from the west coast all the way across this great country, west to the east. I know I could use it. Lets plan out a course for it and have everybody who uses it make a donation in the name of John or something like that. I know i could use it and send it on..

Pass it it forward
