Stranded clutchless in San jose

Sorry. I'm not totally familiar.....call me a stupid automatic guy but why did the steering lock?

I'd assume the z-bar or the broken bracket got jammed against the steering box/rag joint and locked the steering.

I think it was the end of the Zbar tube rising up and touching the rag joint and Mike pushed on the clutchless pedal.

Ah, got it. I kind of thought that but wasnt sure of the extent of the carnage exactly.

Opentracker can do a nice kit as well. I have all heim joints on my pushrods and a reinforced z-bar, it's a very slick setup!

But since the other lasted a few years, I'm guessing stock will be alright for a while.
