I just want the whole American economy to recover is all, but...

The market has been over valued for a while....haven't been playing in it much myself other than average costing into some funds via my 401(k).

Glad to see the market come down to be honest....average costing on money that I don't need to tap for 30 years the market could stay way down for 10 years and it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I read something today about some folks discussing more bail outs. They need to just let the market correct itself instead of extending the bleeding like they've been doing and spending our money to accomplish nothing I might add. Just rip the darn band aid off and get it over with.

I know, I bailed out a couple years ago to let the pendulum swing. Watching things now I'm looking at getting back in within a few weeks. I took 50% of the portfolio to cash a couple years back and have not regretted it one bit.

Won't happen. We do need a major drop imo but it's not gonna happen anytime soon. It will come, just not as quickly as it needs to.
