still have idling problems - this time with Video's

Since the choke is manual, are you talking about manually adjusting while it is cold and open it up with it warms up?

I did get the car pretty warm and adjusting either of the two idle screws had zero affect on idle..

I pulled this from your earlier thread on the topic. Sounds like the carb is running on the main circuit. Something went wrong on the last carb rebuild. . .

Carbs been rebuilt? Is the motor fully warmed in those videos? If it is the choke is still not opened fully as the flaps aren't straight up. Did you put fresh gaskets on the carb base?

Check all vacuum sources that aren't used are capped with fresh rubber caps? Have you replaced all the rubber vacuum lines with new? It sounds like there is a possible vacuum leak, hard to hear with the exhaust leak.

What is the timing set at? Are the points adjusted and fresh (not burn spots on the contacts)? I would set the carb screws at whatever initial adjustment is suggested in the carb instructions, leave them set at that (1 1/2 turns out from seated or whatever the settings are) and then begin checking everything else one at a time until it runs better.

Don't keep turning the carb screws until it runs well then fine tune with a vacuum gauge and turns per instructions.

overcaburated ??
Isn't the carb too big for your six ??

What does the exhaust fumes tell you ?? at the end it gets darker ?
