Rimblows are the only thing that looks right in the 69-70s IMO.

They sure are not cheap. Last year I sold a decent used one to someone in Auzzie land for a few hundred bucko's. But agree with everyone that it is the only
steering wheel to use on a 69/70 rig.

They're hard to find as well. The 69 rimblows are different from the 70-73 rimblow wheels. Starting in 1970 Ford had a locking mechanism in the collar of the steering column. The 70+ rimblows have the corresponding locking hub that I would need. They only seem to show up in 2 varieties...completely trashed for $200 or very nice originals for $400.

There is a guy on fleabay who is restoring them and sells them NR, but they all start off at $299 and do not include the rimblow switch ($130-150), the pad ($80-90), or the pad trim and running pony ($100+). So even if you pick it up for $299, you're still looking at $30 in shipping and another $310-350 to finish the wheel off. $700 is a hard amount to shell out for just a steering wheel!
