Stance, want to lower the rear some

A few years ago I installed the Flex-Form mono leaf springs on my car, unfortunately I chose standard ride height. I also installed Global West 520# front coils. The rear sits a little too high in the rear for my tastes now, I measured and the distance from the highest point of the inside lip of the front fender is 25 1/2" the rear is just over 26". Any experience or opinions on installing a set of 1 /2 lowering blocks in the rear to bring it down? Before someone says it, no I don't have any photos at this time, I'll try to get some this week provided I make it home while there is enough light.

I've been using 1" lowering blocks for several years now w/o any problems. It's just an occasional street driver, no track time.

The rear springs are a mono leaf fiber glass spring, standard eye I guess would be the way to describe them. I did use the Global West bushings in the frame rail and the rest of the GW del a lum bushing, other than the bushing in the spring eye. The front bushing is a metal one anyway.

I run a 1 inch block in the back and it does not seem to change the ride or handling. Others may argue that. Pretty straight forward install. 15 minutes on a lift.

People have been using lowering blocks for years, they work fine if they don't crack. The cast alum. tends to crack under pressure. If you keep an eye on them they might be your best bet. I don't see any other way to lower that mono leaf other than some sand bags.

Same here except 2". No problems.

I slipped a 1" block in mine last summer. Even on jackstands in the garage it was pretty easy. Mine is temporary until I can change the springs again. It's still to high in the rear for me.
No problems here.

Wheelhop is probably the worst problem with them. I have some real HP and decent rear tires. and wheelhop was unacceptable on both launch and real hard braking. Maier's 165lb springs w/dropped eye solved it for me without any traction device. YMMV

Thanks for the responses, my big concern is what stress the blocks may cause the mono leaves. I guess I'd better give them a call and see what they have to say. Using a Dremel or file and rounding the edges, seems like a good idea, and a pad of some sort between the blocks and springs might be wise. Thanks again.
