Slickest engine compartment ever at Mesquite Nationals

I wish I had noticed that and asked the owner. I asked him about the fenders and he confirmed he did weld them...

Google "delta heat" the name of the car. The magazine article I read on that car claimed 13 second quarter mile times. I say that must have been a big garage or a fast trailer.
 
Interesting on the distributor cap. I thought for sure that Crossfire made one for Fords. Now I don't remember where I saw it anymore.
