Should i sell or Keep

Guy's things in my life get better every day. went through a nasty divorce last year. two of my three children live with me. Today day i get a call out of the blue your laidoff dont come in monday, and dont know if i'll be going back. I have a 67 Fastback i been trying to put together, i've collected most of the parts except the front suspension, wheels and tires. and some other smaller things that will ad up to alot of money . I dont know, if i'm ever going be able to afford to finish this project. Do you think i would be better off selling it now and not looking at it everyday and letting it eat at me.

In the end, do what you need to do to survive and take care of your family. If that means selling your '67, then do so. If money isn't an issue, you may want to wait for the market to improve a bit before selling it. You're most likely going to take a big hit on it. Otherwise, throw a cover on it and forget about it for a while, as you take care of more important things.

Like monkey said in the end you need to do what is best for your family. Or just make it a goal that at some point you will work on it. Just do not let it sit outside and rot away. As for the job, I know what you mean. I just went back to work after almost 5 months off. The only thing that I can say about the job is that in the last 3 jobs that I have found was because of monster.com, my last 2 employers found my resume and called me. If you have not already go online to the edd and file for unemployment, as our govinator would say "do it, do it now." fd

I agree with the others. You have to do what is best for your family but if you can hold off for now i would do so. The market is not real great so try and hold on if you can. Maybe something will come along for work and you might kick yourself for selling so fast.
