Shock tower bracing

Performing a restomod on my 65 coupe and I'm ready to cut out some brace plates that will be welded to the inside of tower-frame rail and I considering very strongly using your front end suspension. It doesnt look like the plates will interfere from what I have been able to see. Attached is the 0.125" plate with the pattern.

Your input is appreciated.

Mark,

I don't see that being a problem. I did the same Trans-AM mod on mine:

Thanks for your reply.

Previously I have lowered mu UCA's by 1" . . . does this work with your product or are they installed in the original holes or somewhere in between?

I've done the same thing (see pic) and I'm using Shaun's coilovers. No issues.

We supply a steel 'Shelby Drop' template you can use to lower the original holes. I've installed our coilover system in cars with as much as a 1-3/4" drop before without any binding. Of course, the lower you go the more likely you'll have issues with that plate...
