.....during lunch today down in Carmel Valley,CA. Oh..maybe it was because we (wife & I) had lunch with Opentracker and his way better half?

Shari brought the fastback and John was doing errands in the Ranchero. Thanks for lunch Johnny.

Re: Saw this 66 fastback and Ranchero durin

Your very welcome and Happy Birthday again to Barb. Hard to go wrong with classic cars, good friends and lunch at Baja.

Cool, thanks for posting. Hey, that's the same body style as my '61 Ranchero I'm working on! Any other pics?

We pulled that Ranchero out of a barn for $700, It's a 61 too. I put a V8 4-speed set up in it with disc brakes and a 9" rear. It's a blast to drive. If you need any parts or help, send me a PM or email, I'll be glad to help.

Thanks John. I may just take you up on that offer. Right now, I'm cleaning out the garage making room for the Ranchero floor pan rust repairs and the rotisserie. This was supposed to be the least amount of work to get this baby hauling stuff for me, but you know how that goes!

Here is my starting point, a $500 CL special, advertised as runs and ready for paint...really! Didn't buy his story, just the car.

I like the custom wood interior door panel in the 1st pic. 2 door light switches? WTF? With all that custom interior I don't know where I would put my feet? LOL

Arthur, Looks like you have your hands full but at least you are going to bring a beast back to life.... :thu
