RRS 3 link and struts? or other options

i am starting to think about the suspension for my 68.

i want something that handles good. i would like to go with struts up front. also thinking about the watts 3 link for the rear.

i know nothing about a 3 link.

the car it is going is is a 68 coupe. will have a 351w around 450 hp with a 5 speed manual trans.

i do not have any of the original parts so i need to buy everything new. the car was originally a t code.

i have been looking at the RRS products. are they worth the money?

thanks
Shawn

I've never used any of their parts. I have read recently that availability is limited in the US. Something about the dollar so bad against the aussie $...

That being said, you'll get better handling going with a good SLA type suspension than McPherson struts. Even the fast late model guys change over to SLA. Funny. Some of us old car guys want what they have and they want what we have. :cool:

For those who may not know:

SLA = Short-Long Arm Suspension

It is true, the late model guys want to go to the SLA setup instead of the strut setup. I think you could spend you money on something better than the macpherson setup, but thats my opinion.

ok thanks guys. i was just looking in to the rrs stuff and i think it is over priced.

i will sitck with the stock style and go with opentracker products or GW

Check out Shaun's latest suspension offering as well. I'm pretty impressed, if you are looking for a tubular arm suspension.
