Well I drove my Mustang to my mothers house this weekend. She lives about 180 miles from me, Car ran great, it as a joy to drive. On my way home on a 4 lane 70 MPH road I was hit from behind. I have no idea how fast the person was going but I turned three loops in the highway going 70 MPH, before my car came to rest pointing east in a west bound lane. But by the grace of god I did not hit the guardrail and the oncoming traffic was able to miss me. To top that off the other driver did not stop and no one got his tag number. My car is hurt but can be fixed, I am grateful no one was hurt.

Wow that sucks! Glad you're ok. It certainly could have been much worse.

I can't believe the guy didn't stop. But yet at the same time I can. No one takes accountability for their actions now.

around here when they dont stop, 90% of the time their license has been revoked or its an illegal who never even had a license. that REALLY sucks!!

I am so sorry!
I really can't believe someone would hit you at that speed and continue. Makes me think there could have been some intoxication in the mix.

:bomb :bomb :bomb :bomb :bomb
Damn.....sure are glad you are ok. As you say it could have been worse.

As you pointed out, it could have been much worse!!
Glad to hear that you were not seriously injured...
Like Lauries said, probaby the other driver was drunk or high... no bueno! :rant

Other variables that might be a factor in the hit and run include, unlicensed, uninsured, undocumenterd, etc.

That does suck but as others have said I am glad you are ok. Cars can be replaced or repaired but people not so much.

MAN THAT SUCKS !! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR !! I WOULD BE FURIOUS !!!

GLAD YOU ALL ARE OK !!

So sorry about your car 34 :(

No shortage of idiot "drivers" out there, I've certainly seen some inexplicable things on the road. As others have said, glad no one was injured.

Glad you`d stayed ok in the incident.
What an as$h0l* not to stop and check if you are ok, it`s the least somebody can do!

Hope you can get the car well again in a short time!

Waiting to hear back from Grundy, I will keep you all posted on how well they take care of me in my time of need.

Sorry to hear of the accident as well... glad you are ok. I really enjoyed watching your progress on the bodywork. Such a shame that it came out so nice only to have some a$$wipe ruin it in a flash. On the bright side, Grundy will probably take care of you... Looking a the pics it's quite clear that your workmanship is top notch, so I would expect they support a quality professional level repair.
