Recommendations for carburetor restorer sought

I'm seeking your recommendations for carburetor restorers for my '69 2bbl. I understand that there are some out there other than PonyCarburetors who do as good/better job and not nearly as expensive.

Thoughts, opinions?

A 2bbl is a relatively easy rebuild even for a beginner. Have you had any thoughts of attempting it yourself? Here is a decent DIY. Hope that helps.

Thank you for the info, though a "rebuild" is not what I'm asking about -- yes, a rebuild kit is an easy fix. I'm referring to a "restoration."

I had good luck with Pony Carbs which is being skewered on the other site.

I don't know about restoring an old carb, but I had great service from Recarbco on my Edelbrock. Give them a ring as ask about restoration services.
