We should do something like a show for that weekend
Just some suggestions.

Sept 17 - TWENTY 7 SPORTS BAR & GRILL MUSCLE CAR, TRUCK & CYCLE SHOW - Plano

Sept 18 - Twin Peaks � Plano Car, Truck & Cycle Show and Bikini Car Wash

Sept 18 - DFW Charity Racing Monthly Car Show - Hooters Mesquite

Other suggestions?
 
I have been to both the 27 sports show and the twin peaks show and bikini car wash. I have posted lurid pics of the twin peaks show on this very site. I am availabe for either and would love to hang out. Both are fun shows. I nominate janschutz as social director for rapid rabbit's visit, planning phase. I will provide the hookers and the cigars. Just lidding, i dont smoke.
 
I'd be interested in washing bikinis, so long as I can take them off and put them back on those who wear them...

Ok you sickos , if that is the type of women in Texas I'm not coming. Lol

I didn't realize I had become an event. I feel so special now.

I will have the wife and our little girl with so the hookers are out. We aren't exactly sure what the plan is yet. I was going to start a post when we were more certain.
The general plan is we are flying in to Dallas on Thursday and we are trying to meet with a realtor to look at neighborhoods and houses. Not sure were to even look at yet. I am also trying to set up a meeting with the regional and district managers for my company to visit our stores out there.

Most definitely would love to meet up with you guys and get some info on the area.

BTW what is rapid rabbit's given name (I would feel funny saying Howdy to Wapid Wabbit.

Pat or Patrick is fine.

The rapid rabbit comes from my dad. He was a drag racer back in the sixties and that was the name on his Corvettes. Our last name is Hare and everyone said he was quick out of the hole like a rabbit.

My presence has been requested in Dallas for the 16th. Wife and I may be up there Friday night and Saturday night.

The weekend prior I'll be in Minneapolis for my nephew's wedding. Have to be back to work the 14th and 15th then back up north the 16th.

Both are driving trips.
 
Looks like I need to plan a dinner for Friday night and a car show for Saturday. That will give everyone a choice of what to do.
 
Don't go out your way anyone.

I don't even know where we are staying yet. We are thinking plano maybe? Any suggestions?
Mostly looking at the northern burbs I guess.

We may have a slight change of plans. My wife was checking airfare today and looks like we can save about $400 if we fly in Wed and leave Saturday afternoon. So dinner Friday would be fine and if we do a show on Saturday we would need to leave for the airport by about noon or 1.

Is the best western park suites in plano a decent hotel and area?

Or how about the quality inn and suites in plano?

We are looking for something with a kitchen because of the little one.

Best western is in a decent location. Very near us75 and tons of restaurants and a mall. It is halfway between me and john and far enough from Rick (fast68back) and Dave(1497) to keep them away...

I agree on the first part. Everyone should have the experience of meeting Rick and Dave once. Maybe Rick will get his fastback out of the garage.

I will try to drop by the hotels and check them out for you. My pet hotel peeve is dirty worn out carpet.
